About the Maykker Sleeve System Starter Kit
This Maykker Sleeve System Starter Kit is a MUST-HAVE for any window cleaning professional. Test out all the different Maykker Sleeve and EasyScrub styles to get to your perfect setup. This kit includes the swiveling t-bar and handy sleeve that are the base for any combination. Choose from four sizes, including 6″, 10″, 14″, and 18″. For example, if you purchase the 10-inch kit, you will receive the 10-inch size of the t-bar and sleeves.
What’s the Difference Between the Sleeves?
Each sleeve provides a different cleaning experience based on your situation. The Handy sleeve is what attaches to your t-bar and accepts all the other sleeves. It has a snug fit to prevent the sleeves from moving around while you try to work. It also does double duty with gripping teeth, which can latch onto a variety of soft surfaces like towels or scrub pads for easily detailing skylights.
The Python Sleeves are made from a high-quality microfiber material. It’s a great option if you don’t want a ton of water on your sleeve and need just a good general use sleeve.
The Scotsman Sleeves are made from a large microfiber tweed, giving it a weighted feeling for more heavy-duty cleaning and supreme absorption to get more water on the glass.
The Switch-Mop sleeves are made from a high-quality microfiber material and have great absorbency and effective water retention. This mop is designed to provide maximum absorption and porous water retention capabilities. Additionally, the Switch-Mop is equipped with a removable scrubber strip that eliminates tough dirt and grime from your sleeve. Please note that the blue scrubber is not recommended for windows with film tint, E-glass, or bulletproof glass, as it could scratch these surfaces.
The Hedgehog Sleeves have tiny, coarse spines for removing tough stains and debris. These are great for residential homes. They cannot be used on any treated window with film, e-glass, or bulletproof glass.Â
These sleeves lay flat, making them easy to stack, store, fold, or roll them away in your toolbox. When they get dirty, you can just throw them in the wash and let them air dry. The benefit of the Maykker Sleeve System is that you don’t have to worry about the ends of sleeves blowing out. And you’re less likely to get water touching the frames when you work.
What’s the Difference Between the EasyScrubs?
The EasyScrubs are made from various materials to best suit different needs. The white scrubber is made of a finer material for surfaces that require a gentler touch. The blue offers the most aggressive option for really heavy-duty messes. Thanks to Maykker’s unique sleeve system, you can easily swap out your scrubbers seamlessly, even on the same job!
