This breakthrough in the restoration and cleaning industry is a user-friendly, full 31.45% strength muriatic acid replacement that works better with less harmful effects. Quickly remove efflorescence, calcium, calcium carbonate, and hard water stains on concrete, masonry, stucco, shingles, glass, synthetic stone, anodized aluminum, unpolished marble, and more. It can be used to etch concrete at stronger ratios or as a general cleaner at diluted ratios.
This product combines a buffered, pleasant-smelling buffered acid along with excellent soaping capability. F9 Calcium and Efflorescence Remover gives the user the advantage of a full-strength product while greatly reducing corrosion and fuming, with 95% fewer fumes than full-strength HCL Acid, thereby improving the overall health and safety risk profile.
This one gallon of F9 Efflorescence and Calcium Remover covers 200-400′ of porous masonry and up to 1,200′ of sealed or non-porous masonry. Application rates will vary depending on the amount of staining, the porosity of the substrate, and if the surface was sealed. When new and unopened, this product has a shelf life of up to two years. Once opened, that shelf life gets cut in half to approximately one year.Â
