AWC Magazine – Issue 184
ISSUE TEASER:
Every window cleaner knows what pure water is and isn’t: but can you drink pure water? Safety expert Gary Mauer examines that topic due to the recent Flint, Michigan water crisis. He defines pure water, how to make pure water, and the pros and cons of using it, and why you shouldn’t drink it.
AWC contributor Mark E. Battersby explores the Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes Act of 2015, otherwise known as PATH. He explains that many of PATH’s provisions apply to 2015 transactions and the staggered expiration dates for many of these tax benefits make professional assistance almost mandatory.
The 2016 International Window Cleaning Association (IWCA) convention and trade show was a success. AWC chief correspondent Bob Lawrence had his boots on the ground to report the happenings. Lawrence gave his thoughts on the convention and shared what the manufacturers in attendance had to showcase.
