Description
AWC Magazine – Issue 153
ISSUE TEASER:
New AWC contributor Ron Friman opens his first article by warning of the dangers when using a stepladder. Most window cleaners fall off stepladders because they lose their balance. Friman says some factors that cause cleaners to lose their balance are electric shocks, reaching too far, unstable set-up, and a ladder where the bottom rubber is worn off.
The US presidential election of 2012 is covered by reoccurring AWC contributor Anne Richter. She describes what has changed since Barack Obama assumed the presidency, what stayed the same, and she provides a table outlining the difference in beliefs between Obama and Republican nominee Mitt Romney.
In the window cleaning industry, there are times at conventions, seminars, picnics, and forums where ideas and other information are shared and relationships are born, but quite often we know little about each other’s private lives. Chief correspondent Bob Lawrence gives some facts about a few window cleaners that you wouldn’t normally know.
