AWC Magazine – Issue 114
ISSUE TEASER:
Write Right Enterprises’ Drue Ann Hargis-Ramirez is back again with safety tips – this time about electricity in this issue of the American Window Cleaner magazine. Ramirez advises having a safe distance between you and your electrical equipment, remembering that you don’t have to be touching the source to get shocked, and not to work alone around power lines.
AWC contributor Bob Lawrence has traps to avoid for new startup window cleaning businesses. Lawrence recommends having a strong potential employee screening process, never underprice your work, don’t try to be your own CPA, keep your word to yourself and your customers, and never put all your eggs in one basket.
“Any quest for expansion funding must begin with an understanding of the various types of financing,” says AWC contributor Mark E. Battersby. The two ways of funding expansion are debt financing and equity financing. Battersby further explains the two in addition to giving some tips and tricks.
