AWC Magazine – Issue 110
ISSUE TEASER:
European correspondent Nigel Hall provides coverage for the International Show of Cleaning and Hygiene in Italy in this issue of the American Window Cleaner magazine. Hall reports the trade show represented a significant investment from its exhibitors and was organized by the Italian Association of Cleaning Equipment Manufacturers and Dealers (AFIDAMP).
AWC contributor Bob Lawrence tells the tale of several people from different working backgrounds who all came together to become successful window cleaners. Those people reused the same business models from their previous positions and applied them to window cleaning. Lawrence then goes on to talk about franchising and if it’s for you.
Some tempered glass that can’t be scraped because of fabricating debris issues actually means it’s high-maintenance glass. AWC contributor Gary Mauer explains that fabricators don’t promote quality tempered glass that can be scraped without incident because it technically isn’t high quality – although that may be changing soon.
